Greystones resident Margaret Kennedy is putting her recent Limerick University post-graduate Level 9 certificate to good use by gathering together Wicklow stories of HSE failings.
Dr Kennedy has put the call out to anyone who feels they do not get adequate support or care from the Health Service Executive. She is particularly interested in anyone who has made complaints and not had their issues addressed, or had them addressed badly.
“I am a former nurse and social worker,” explains Kennedy, “now ill and disabled, and extremely worried about the suffering of others. All information will be treated with the utmost confidentiality. This is a survey I am undertaking with a view to challenging the level of services offered in this country.”
