Stephen Dempsey of Greystones, Co. Wicklow died on Tuesday 9th June 2026, aged 56 years, in the exceptional care of Wicklow Hospice, following a long illness, courageously fought. Beloved youngest son of Veronica and the late Frank. Cherished brother of Anne-Marie, Fran, Michael, Jackie and the late Susan. Stephen is mourned and will be greatly missed by his mother, sisters, brother, sister-in-law Helen, brother-in-law John, aunt Anne and husband Gary and by his adoring nieces, nephews, extended family and his army of friends. Sincere thanks to the Wicklow Hospice Homecare Team and the doctors, nurses and staff on The Oncology Ward at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin.
Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Thursday 11th June from 4pm to 6pm. Funeral Mass on Friday 12th June at 10am in the Holy Rosary Church, La Touche Road, Greystones, followed by burial in Redford Cemetery, Blacklion, Greystones. Family flowers only please.
