Memorial Service For Martin Gibson O’Gara

he parents of the late Martin Gibson O’Gara are holding a memorial service for their son this Sunday in Newcastle.

Martin passed away on May 19th 2021, aged 10, after a brave battle with a range of debilitating illnesses.

The memorial mass is not only for Martin but ‘all the children who passed away during Covid‘ – including, of course, Will Leeson.

Said the Gibson O’Gara family, “Martin’s legacy will live on through all the other amazing children, the children of LauraLynn, Crumlin Hospital, Jack & Jill, Little Blue Heroes, Bumbelance, St Catherine’s… We will continue to support these wonderful charities in Martin’s honour.”

The special memorial mass will take place at 3pm in The Holy Spirit Oratory in Newcastle, with the local garda joining the community for this tribute.
