espite the fact that we check the Irish Water website every single morning, the fecks can still add a bunch of works without warning.
Which makes keeping up with their road-digging parties pretty darn difficult.
So, we’re hopeful that this update is complete, but, with Irish Water, you never know. Until your well runs dry.
This coming week, there will be valve installation works in Delgany from the 18th to the 22nd, which means Priory Road will be closed, whilst on Monday 18th there will be essential maintenance works in Bray’s Westfield Park from 1pm until 5pm.
From October 25th to November 12th, Greystones’ Cliff Road will be closed 24 hours a day for the installation of a new water main, with access only for local residents and businesses. Alternative route is Trafalgar Road and onto Sidmonton Road.
From November 8th to the 19th, Sidmonton Place will be closed 24 hours a day due to the installation of a new water main, with no through-road, but residents and businesses will have access on one side of the works. The alternative route is Trafalgar Road and onto Cliff Road.
From November 15th to the 26th, Marine Terrace will also be closed 24 hours a day for water works with only local residents and businesses allowed access. The alternative routes suggested are Marine Road onto La Touche Road and onto Trafalgar Road, or from the opposite direction, Trafalgar Road onto La Touche Road and onto Kimberley Road.
Full water pressure usually takes between 2 to 3 hours to return.
Hard to keep up with these Irish Water buggers without those warnings, so you can always double-check right here.
