She is, of course, a minx.
A major minx.
That said, Caroline Gray is also one of the homeliest, friendliest, most caring and sharing minxes you could ever hope to meet.
All those qualities are there in abundance at Cafe Gray on Greystones main street, where you’ll find Caroline most days, smiling, and waving, and looking so fine. Oh, and making yummy food, having headed down to Ballymahole or Ballygobackwards – wherever that school is – for two years, just to be sure, to be sure that she knew exactly what she wanted when it came to running a cafe.
And man, that food is good. The staff may be eejits, and that busboy Ă“isin might be a bit simple, but, bejiggers, the food is amazing. Which, when mixed with the lovely Caroline, and the way she might look at ya, can make for a very pleasant way to spend a lazy afternoon.
Of course, behind every great woman is a very grateful man, and, if you’re very, very lucky, next time you’re down in Cafe Gray, you may even spot the loveable, huggable Alan, Caroline’s other three-quarters.
It’s pretty damn hard to figure out though which one is the luckier of the two for having found the other. They’re both just so bloody sweet. The swines.
