t’s one of the best kept secrets around – or, given its popularity, maybe it’s the worst…?

Either way, the hideaway that is the Bear Paw Deli on Theatre Lane is a little homecooked foodie haven, jampacked of rich, tempting and downright voluptuous goodies.

The kind of rich, tempting and downright voluptuous goodies that that could make a poor boy from Tupelo go weak at the knee.

Which is pretty much what our local Elvis – aka The Artist Formerly Known As Alan Adamson – did when he saw that this Greystones deli had one of his favourite lunches on the menu. Second only to the burger, Elvis loves him some ham and cheese toasties.

Taking a break from rehearsing his special guest appearance at the upcoming Benny Taglienti benefit concert at The Hot Spot on Thursday, November 8th – get your tickets in Joker’s, people! – Elvis made short shrift of his Bear Paw sambo.

The big question remains, as always, was this a lunch fit for The King…?
