Life In Non-Plastic, It’s Fantastic!
March 24, 2018

Young Jo O’Farrell has been in touch about Greystones Bridge Centre’s groovy new classes, starting in January.

And being the kind-hearted card sharks that they are, the Bridge brigade have classes for both beginners and those who’d like to take their game that little bit higher.

Starting on Monday 20th, there’s a 10-week beginners course, happening at 10am each week. For those wishing to take their Bridge a step further, it’s Tuesdays for another 10-week course, again at 10am each week, same  starting on January 21st. It’s €120 for the entire 10 weeks.

After which, you’ll be able to beat Terrence Ignatius Marjorie Sweeney, without even breaking a sweat.

The town’s Bridge Club Centre is on Victoria Road, and there are games every night, Monday to Friday, and Wednesday mornings. It’s members only from September to the end of May, whilst all the bridge clubs are open to everyone during the summer months

There are open bridge games on Wednesdays at 2pm and on Friday mornings, both open to non-members. These two particular clubs are not affiliated to the Contract Bridge Association of Ireland, whereas all the evening clubs are.

So, lots of opportunities to play this much-loved game.
