They’ve come for their paws

The Campaign for Greystones Dog Park would like to commend Wicklow County Council on their plans to deliver a proper Dog Park for the Greystones Municipal District.

Chairperson Bernadette Stokes stated: “We have been liaising with Greystones Municipal District over the past few months. The location will be up by Go Gym, Charlesland.

“Special credit is due to Michael Nicholson and Ruairí O’Hanlon from the Greystones Municipal District office for their leadership and vision.

“They have gone above and beyond with this project. We look forward to the opening.”

Our understanding is that the Greystones Dog Park will open in early 2022. The Campaign for Greystones Dog Park has been working towards this for the past twelve years. This included petitions, numerous meetings, marching in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and more.

We would like to thank the committee and supporters for their wonderful commitment over the years.
