Newcastle Bat Walk & Talk

Just hangin’ around…

f you’re a fan of nature’s caped crusader, you may want to get yourself over to Newcastle this coming Tuesday.

For that’s the day the village is playing host to a Bat Walk And Talk.

Leading the way is bat specialist Faith Wilson, who’s got the impressive line-up of BSc, MIEEM and CEnv after her name.

So, respect. The lady clearly knows what she’s waffling on about.

Meeting at the Castle Inn car park at 8.45pm, those taking part are advised to dress warmly, and don ‘stout footwear’ (huh?) and to bring along a torch.

And some garlic.

Children are welcome but they must be accompanied by an adult, with the walk concluding at 10pm.

Naturally, the walk is weather dependent.
