Lots of groovy live music, happening indoors and outdoors this September, on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th.
Organised by The Hot Spot Music Club with some major moolah from The Department of Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sports & Media via the government’s Live Performance Support Scheme 2021, there’s pretty much something for everyone with this two-day festival.
Well, everyone who isn’t hooked on TikTok jingles, that is.
On Saturday 4th, it’s Eoin Woods, Leo O’Kelly and Steve Belton for the free afternoon gigs (from 2pm to 5pm), then Kila and Niwel Tsumbu from 6.30pm for the ticketed shows.
Those heading out for a morning walk be warned though – there will be a Harbour Ukuleles show at 11am, where they will try to entice new fools to join by giving free lessons.
On Sunday, it’s tickets all the way, for Mack Fleetwood (1pm to 4pm, it says here) and from 5pm, Mary Coughlan, Ladies In The Blues and Katie Theasby.
You can also catch old Hot Spot performances from the likes of Andy Irvine, Freddie White and Mark Geary on their website too.
Boom! With tickets available in pods of four or six, you can check out what’s left right about here.
