NCPS Issue Warning Over Greystones HarrassmentMarch 5, 2019
I’m Gonna Be Your No.1March 5, 2019
Having taken the reigns late last year, Caroline and Shane McNamara are turning up the heat in Pluck’s over in Kilmac.
Which is handy, given that it can be fair nippy – and even a tad boring – at this time of year.
On the music front, Saturday nights are rockin’ with the bould Isobelle Mahon on March 9th, first-timer Lisa Kavanagh on the 16th, and Whiplash on the 23rd.
There’s also Pluck’s Paddy’s Day Special on Sunday 17th, with local favourite Karl Ivers helping everyone remember the oul’ ballads about the oul’ sod.
There’s also a Quiz Night on Monday, March 11th, with all monies raised going to the Kilmacanogue Juvenile GAA – with the fun kicking off at 8pm. Contact Jackie Fox on 0868494655 for tickets.
The last Thursday of the month, on March 28th, is also a big one for Pluck’s, as they unveil their new Trad, Ballad & Folk Session, from 9pm, whilst the following Saturday, March 30th, Karl is back with a cotton-pickin’, hootenany of a country music night. Remember to bring your cousin, as there will be a priest on hand for some half-price shotgun weddings.
