The bould Mike Creamer has been in touch about an exciting new fitness workout happening down at Greystones harbour.
Called Power Rowing, this indoor activity gets all your mojo muscles working, whilst you row away on a virtual river.
Which is handy. Especially if it’s raining. And you can’t swim.
Here’s the lowdown…
One-time celebrity fitness trainer and Wicklow native Mike Creamer has set up shop in the Greystones Marina.
Before returning to Ireland in 2017, for 20 years Mike operated his own fitness studio in New York’s fashionable Soho district, where he provided personal training to an A-list clientele that included actress Liv Tyler, singer Bonnie Raitt and JFK Jnr. Before that he was an Irish National Powerlifting champion who put Bono and Adam Clayton through their paces as a trainer in Dublin’s City Gym.
Now a competitive rower and an avid cyclist, you can avail of Mike’s 30+ years of experience with his affordable Power-rowing small group training program at the Greystones Rowing clubhouse. He offers daily 1-hour classes that combine indoor rowing with bodyweight exercises and stretching at just €150 for 10 classes.
As Mike says, “indoor rowing is a complete exercise that does it all. It strengthens all the major muscle groups and is an unbeatable low-impact cardio workout.
“Rowing gives you more bang for your buck than any other exercise.”
