eeting twice weekly for many a year, the Greystones Men’s
Shed is all about building more than shelves and novelty flower pot wheelbarrows.
There’s also the little matter of building friendship, sharing knowledge, stories and – gulp! – even feelings.
Which is why the town’s Cathaoirleach Mark Barry had such a fine time when he swung down to the lads’ Church Road HQ this morning.

Men’s Sheds are a really important part of our community fabric, and provide an opportunity for men of all ages to come together to work on projects that are of interest to them, and to share their skills with other members of the group.
“Men’s Sheds originated in Australia, where research has shown that they also provide an essential way for men to socialise together, and bring significant benefits for mental health.
