Sheena, Take Another Bow

The joy of nap time…

oung Sheena Griffin over on Cherry Lane in Killincarrig has a habit of picking up awards.

Just last October at the Irish Professional Photographers & Video Association love-in, sure, didn’t the girl pick up two of the annual stamps of approval.

To add to the 4,327 gongs she’s got already.

With those two bronze awards adding an extra creak to the lady’s buckled mantlepiece, the IPPVA have now nominated Sheena for Photographer Of The Year in the Newborn Category. Naturally, the lady of the house is chuffed.

“I’m chuffed,” says Sheena. “I take a lot of pride in creating images for parents that they can cherish forever – which is the most important part of what I do.

“Having said that, to get this kind of professional recognition is definitely something special too…”
