e are, of course, an arty-farty 
bunch around here, and that means there are lots and lots of arty farty kids too.
Which must be why our annual Splash Of Colour kids’ art competition gets so many entries.
And pretty much all of them are exceptional. Give or take the odd dud.
Open to young artists of any age, and to any kind of material they want to work in – from pavements to paintings, from crayons to computers – the theme for this year’s 
Splash Of Colour competition is Here Comes The Summer.
So, we’re talking about embracing your outer beauty, the great outdoors that we’ve all been turning to for sun, sand and sanity during these endless lockdown days.
