St Laurence’s Big Day Out

People, get ready…

t Laurence’s Annual Fundraising Day is something of a marathon for those with a kind heart and strong legs.

Starting off with a coffee morning, then a round of golf, then dinner and a raffle before finishing on the dancefloor, it’s a day that clearly has something for everyone.

Just remember to bring your vitamin pills. And your sleeping bag.

Happening on Friday, May 20th, here’s the lowdown…

The day will consist of a Coffee Morning kindly sponsored by and held at The Grove Bar, Willow Grove from 9:15am until 11:30am. Everyone is welcome to this coffee morning – parents, friends of the school, members of the community. We will hold a raffle here with great spot prizes.

The Golf Classic will run all day in Delgany Golf Club – tee times are from 9am-3:30pm. This will be a 4 person team scramble format – an 18 hole competition and a 9 hole ladies competition. Some tee times are still available if anyone is interested.

The Dinner Dance will also take place in Delgany Golf Club from 7:45pm onwards. This is always a great night with good food and plenty of dancing!

The annual raffle has wonderful prizes this year. I’ve attached the top 16 prizes that appear on the front of the ticket and there are many more great prizes. Tickets are €2 each or a book of 6 for €10. Anyone interested in buying tickets can get them from the school or contact me – my number is on the poster attached, as is the fundraiser email address. We will draw the prize winners at the dinner dance and contact them for collection in the following days.

We are also holding a Jersey Day at school where all the children are invited to Bring a Coin to Wear a Jersey. Everyone will get to play a part in the Fundraiser Day!
