It’s The Way They Tell ‘EmFebruary 12, 2020
Met Éireann have issued a weather advisory for ‘some very wet and very windy weather’ over the weekend, thanks to the arrival of Storm Dennis.
Covering the entire country, the storm is likely to bring flooding and damaging gusty winds.
Only, Wicklow doesn’t seem all that vulnerable, as Dennis makes his way across the country from the Atlantic.
According to Aughrim-based Wicklow Weather, we will get southerly winds gusting from 65kmh to 115kmh along the western to northern seaboard, with isolated stronger gusts and 50kmh to 90kmh elsewhere.
Which is more crappy than life-threatening.
With the bad weather set to continue until Monday, naturally, if you can avoid going out the door, do.
Except maybe for that really, really, really hot Valentine’s date.
