Chapel Road Closures For Irish Water WorksJune 25, 2019
Katie’s The Undisputed Champion Of The WorldJune 2, 2019
Okay, so it’s not for his fine, award-winning Charlesland takeaway, but, nice to see the bould Sunil Ghai making it onto The Irish Times Top 100 places to eat in Ireland.
The slap on the back was actually for Sunil’s Dublin operation, Pickle, in the Vegetarian- And Vegan-Friendly section, but, same hands, same mind, same tasty cooking.
Also getting a mention, in the Off The Beaten Track category, is Delgany’s Firehouse Bakery, home of incredible home-baking and some ridiculous on-street parking.
Great to see Emma Gray, formerly of this parish, and her hubby, Gilles, make the Café list, with their Clanbrassil Street HQ, Gaillot et Gray. Having long ago handed over their silver pizza truck down at the South Beach to nephew Naoise.
Where you’ll still find it from 5pm to 9pm, Wednesday to Sunday.
Congrats to them all, and a kick up the arse for the three judges. Lots, lots more beautiful eateries out in this neck of the woods…
