Temple Carrig 2020 Charity Calendar

As various transition students search out ways to raise some crucial funds for their Mustard Seed volunteer work, two Temple Carrig kids have come up with a winner.

A 2020 charity calendar boasting fine shots of Greystones and its surrounds.

Of course, by surrounds, that means the likes of Kilcoole and Newtownmountkennedy too. So, brace yourselves.

Here’s Temple Carrig teacher Susan Kyne with the lowdown…

Two Temple Carrig Transition Year students, Kate Fennell and Liam Andrews, are producing a calendar printed by Rossprint to raise funds for a project they are volunteering for. Mustard Seed Ireland provides lifelong residential care to children with physical and mental disabilities, children affected by HIV/AIDS, and young mothers in crisis in Jamaica, Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Zimbabwe, and Malawi.

They want to raise funds by selling their calendar and need 10 businesses to sponsor with their adverts to cover print costs – details on the poster above.

I also attach here a heartwarming little video of TCG students singing to some of the children they are helping in this Project in Jamaica to give an idea of the lovely children they are funding for. Thanks!
