hose clever people at both Greystones and Bray Fire Station are pulling together this Saturday for two CPR demos.
One of the main reasons being the plan to place 10 defibrillators along The Cliff Walk.
Access to such devices can, of course, make all the difference between life and death, and with The Cliff Walk pretty much a no-go (or, at the very least, a go-slow) area for the emergency services, having these defibrillators spaced out along one of the country’s most popular walks makes perfect sense.
Now, we just need to make sure that lots and lots of people know how to use them.
To that end, Greystones firemen will be at the harbour, from 12pm to 3pm this Saturday, August 7th, to educate people in the fine life-saving art of CPR whilst their Bray counterparts will be doing the exact same on the other side of The Cliff Walk, at their fire station onSchools Road in Bray.
In the meantime, you can check out our full list of local defibrillators and their locations – including Google Map links – right here.
