With SuperValu giving over 7am to 9am to the elderly, and Lidl dedicated 9am to 11am, Tesco Greystones have now given over early morning hours to the town’s most important people.
Namely, the elderly, family carers and healthcare workers.
For the former two, it’s from 7am to 9am on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. For the healthcare workers, it’s 7am to 9am on Tuesday and Thursday.
The hope being that mad feckers won’t be setting their alarms to go and form a conga line at their local supermarket at the break of dawn.
Like they did this morning at Tesco, purely because Varadkar and co pushed the Stay At Home call a little harder on the Friday night.
We’re all on the one road, and it would appear that we’re doing just fine, especially compared to many of our neighbours.
So, you know, let’s all just chill the feck out, and enjoy our own company for a little while…
