Brooke & Shoals One-Week SaleNovember 22, 2019
It’s becoming something of a fine Christmas tradition in Greystones, to head on down to the harbour of a weekend, and get that festive shopping list sorted.
Certainly, with, oh, 3,427 stalls involved this year, there is quite definitely something for everyone in your family here.
From wood craft to jewellery, personalised PJ printing to vegan baking, percussion instruments, jams and chutneys, soy wax candles, photography, wood crafts, felt crafts and paper crafts, from driftwood art and furniture to leather bags, wood reindeers, wreaths, gift boxes, crystals and whatever-you’re-having-yourself, the Boat Yard Christmas Market 2019 has the feckin’ lot.
Oh, and we never mentioned the basket maker, knitwear, crochet, natural beauty skincare, zero waste products, kids clothing, homeware and, most important of all, lashings of mulled wine.
Naturally, Santa is going to be there too, in his Boat Yard grotto every Sunday, from 1pm to 4pm, with his little elves by his side, forever ready to disperse Christmas cheer! It’s just €10 entry per child, which will include a gift bag.
Santa is going Full Tree Hugger this year, with each child receiving a certificate for a tree which will be planted in spring 2020 as part of a major climate initiative by Greystones Tidy Town.
The market itself is free, of course, running every Saturday and Sunday from November 30th to December 22nd, 11am to 5pm each day.
Run in conjunction with the Greystones Tidy Towns gang, all proceeds from the market will go towards developing a Sensory Garden in Burnaby Park. You can find out more by emailing email@example.com.
