Intuitive abstract artist Iseult McCormack presents her first solo show When I Close my Eyes at Signal Arts Centre from September 18th to October 1st.

It’s an exhibition that promises to be an immersive experience, inviting viewers to explore the landscapes of the artist’s dreams. This collection invites us to embark on a journey of colour, form, and inner reflection.

This exhibition encapsulates Iseult’s intuitive and abstract approach to her work. It is an enchanting infusion of colour and form, translating her innermost visions onto canvas, using mixed media, largely acrylic and even some collage – creating work that dances between the realms of dreams and imagination.

A Bray local, Iseult has delved into numerous mediums and traversed many creative paths over the years leading her to this current place of peace and fulfilment and it is here she thrives, translating her innermost visions onto canvas.

Iseult is currently a staff artist at Signal Arts Centre in Bray where she teaches art and participates in community arts programmes and events.  She has a Higher National Diploma in Fine Art and is studying Visual Arts Practice in NCAD at the moment.

This is Iseult’s first solo exhibition. She has had works in various shows including Signal Arts Society Members’ Exhibition, Signal Arts Centre Meitheal Exhibition and the Signal Open Exhibition, Bray Pop-Up Art Exhibition and her art is regularly on display in Stephen’s Green. Her work has shown in venues in Temple Bar and some of her pieces were protected on outside walls in Dublin City Centre during July 2023.

Running from Monday, September 18th to Sunday, October 1st, the launch for When I Close My Eyes is Friday, September 22nd from 7pm to 9pm. There will be free booze.
