What a day… SUN4JUNE23 Pic: GG
iven just how sublime a summer’s day Sunday, June 4th 2023 turned
out to be, there’s every chance ballads will soon be written in its honour.
At the very least, it will be the day that Greystonians will hold up for months to come as an example of what a real sunny day is
supposed to be like.
“Sure, it’s nice today and all, but believe me when I tell ya, this is nowhere near as sunny and downright perfect as Sunday, June 4th 2023…”
For the Greystones Tidy Towns gang, the weather certainly couldn’t have been better for the launch of The Plaza Market, a new Sunday fixture down at the harbour.
With more than a little help from their old Boat Yard Market cohort Siobhan Stack, this was a wonderfully sprawling collection of crafters, artists, painters, foodies and beyond – and it provided the perfect excuse for a lazy, hazy afternoon.
Especially one as sunny and downright perfect as Sunday, June 4th 2023.
Running from 11am to 5.30pm every week until August 27th, you can find out more about The Plaza Market right over here.
In the meantime, a big thank you, as always, to John McGowan for capturing all the beautiful people today.
And for being so dang big-hearted that he even let some dodgy looking feckers into the gallery too…
