The very lovely Sarah from The Reading Academy has been in touch…

Offering specialist instruction for struggling readers and children with dyslexia, this wonderful organisation boasts a new face-to-face class for kids as well as an online course for parents.

Happening at the Kilian House Family Centre beside the Holy Rosary, there’s a new Reading Academy class for kids starting on Thursdays, running from 6.05pm to 7.05pm. The Reading Academy offers small group specialised tuition to struggling readers and children with dyslexia during after-school hours (age 8-12 years). Their qualified specialists use the renowned Orton Gillingham approach.

There are also online courses for parents, organisations and potential tutors, which you can sign up for right about here.

Having started in September 2015, the idea of The Reading Academy began with a passion for teaching reading to children with reading difficulties, specifically dyslexia

The Reading Academy classes for kids are running Thursdays at the Kilian House Family Centre from 6.05pm to 7.05pm. For more detailed information, please visit The Reading Academy website here.
