Jaysus, the look of glee on Max’s face when he saw the Cove full of shiny, happy, wet people…
The boy is always happy to hang out with others who realise that, hey, the Cove is pretty much the perfect place to party on down.
It’s got waves! It’s got sand! It’s got loads and loads, and loads, of stupid stones to chase and kill.
Given that the sun was high and unhindered on this sweet Saturday afternoon, and the temperatures were hovering in the upper floors of Paradise City, it was no surprise to find that de peoples were out in force along Greystones seafront today.
And with Sunday supposed to be a continuation of the good weather, chances are, it’ll be even more packed tomorrow.
So, embrace it, Greystonians. And store up some of that all-important solar-powered happiness, so you can survive the odd cloudy, and perhaps even rainy, summer day that might just come along.
Oh, and either there’s a crazy midget on the loose down at the harbour, or some swine had the blind audacity to let their large dog leave a major box of Milk Tray right on the promenade. The absolute feckin’ feck. We cleared it away, but, it anyone saw the culprit, please, do let us know…
In the meantime, remember, the trick to a happy life is simple – when there’s bliss on offer, grab it with both hands. And, if you’re fit enough, both legs too.
