Following its closure for repairs after a rock fall two weeks ago, the Cliff Walk will remain closed after an unstable rock collapsed early this morning.
The closure is, of course, for public safety, as there is a risk of further rock falls at the same location.
Once the area has been cleared, the risk has been assessed, and safety implementations and repairs have been carried out, the walk will reopen.
Back in October, we reckoned the closure would be short and swift. We was wrong. Very wrong.
Turns out it’s going to be another week, give or take, that the collapsed rock – about 1.5km from Bray – can be cleared, and the area stabilised.
Now, go check out our Cliff Walk archives here.
