Everything, everywhere, all at once…
t may have been mayhem for some people getting to the show today,
but the Bray Air Display is always worth the journey.
Well, pretty much always.
Sadly, on Sunday some of the event’s biggest hitters didn’t make it to the sky, cancelled, stated the organisers, ‘due to wet/windy conditions at the take-off airbases‘.
In total, 10 planes reportedly couldn’t make it, 11 did, and the likes of the Red Arrows, the Viggen and the Lancaster were sorely missed.
As the angry comments on the Bray Air Display’s social media so eloquently proved.
Still, it’s not like anyone paid in here, and what did make it into the blue skies above Bray seafront was, as always, pretty spectacular.
Having a busy weekend, the bould Gerry Kelly managed to grab a spot on the promenade to catch the big day for us…
