o mark International Yoga and Outdoor Wellness Day, Greystones is going ever-so-slightly Bhuhjangasana.
Not to mention Trikonasana. And maybe even a little Dhanurasana, depending on how much people have had to drink.
Yep, it’s yoga madness on Wednesday, June 21st, with Min Bennett kicking the fun in the rising sun off at 4.55am on the South Beach followed by Sarah Hutch’s SUP Yoga down at the harbour at 7am, Cara O’Loughlih’s Hatha Yoga at 9.15am and Lydia Sassee’s Face Yoga at 10am (both in Marina Village), then Caroline Whelan’s Yoga Barre at 11am and May Fahey’s Wim Hot Breath Work at 1pm (both on The South Beach), Siona Ryan’s Sensory Yoga in Burnaby Park at 3.30pm, Kids Yoga with Joga Yoga at 4.30pm on The South Beach, and finishing the day back in Burnaby Park, Gilly Bow’s Slow Flow Yoga at 5.30pm, Jean Maher’s Hatha Yoga at 7pm and Georgina Durcan’s Gratitude Meditation at 8.30pm.
After all of which, if you’re not levitating, there’s a good chance that have no soul.
No booking required – just turn up with your yoga mat, Rise coffee and one-size-too-small yoga pants, and away ye go.
Put together by the Greystones Town Team with lovely free lolly from Wicklow County Council (oh, just imagine), you can find out more by emailing Marlena and the GTT gang on info@greystones.ie.
