In yet another example of just how spoilt we are in this foodie town of ours, the bould Chakra are having something of a bumper year for awards and gongs.
And it’s still only February, for feck’s sake.
As well as their two big wins in the Leinster finals of this year’s Irish Restaurant Awards – scoring for Best Customer Service and Best World Cuisine – the Greystones eaterie has just been listed, yet again, in the latest McKennas’ Guide to Ireland’s Top 100 Restaurants and Lucinda O’Sullivan’s 2020 Guide.
Not only that, sure haven’t they gone and been awarded a Michelin Plate, becoming the only restaurant in Greystones recognised by the Michelin Guide 2020.
Joker’s were so close though, it would break your heart.
So, congrats to Albert, Dinesh and the gang. You can find out more about Chakra here, and book yourself a place on their latest masterclass right about here.
