Formed by a bunch of Greystones geeks who recognise that technology can be used for good as well as Facebook, Wicklow Innovation Meetup want to help you get your head out of your apps.

Here to provide ‘a stimulating forum to engage and connect local thinkers, doers, makers and investors’, whilst also facilitating ‘local collaboration in technology, business and creativity’, the founders welcome anyone who’s into ‘Creativity, Technology and Craic’.

Taking place once a month in Greystones Library at 6.30pm – followed by a few scoops in The Burnaby at 8pm – the next monthly meetup is entitled Optimising Climate Action For Ireland, taking place on Tuesday, August 13th.

Here’s der spiel…

Climate change. What exactly can we do that makes sense and has the biggest impact? Using data from Project Drawdown, we’ll moderate a discussion on ways to optimise our public policies and individual efforts to take on this existential challenge. We’ll highlight practical solutions as well as those that still require new innovations to become viable.

Join us at the Greystones Library for this poignant conversation. All are welcome. If you have expertise in a complimentary field and wish to play a more active role in this meetup please message us.

Pleased arrive promptly as we have a lot to cover and hope to give everyone a chance to share their views or ask questions.
