o be fair, Max was just as flummoxed as we were when the bould Paul Hayden told us all about Sweeney’s brand new nosebag.
Which just happens to be a frozen yogurt. For dogs.
We Shih Tzu not.
Turns out the Irish-made Frozzys are becoming something of a doggone phenomenon, with the Belfast bow-wow-wowsies now going global with their very cool doggie treats with a difference.
The fact that they are, hey, rich in vitamins, minerals and prebiotic fibres, plus low in calories and lactose-free, means that Frozzys might as well have been tailor-made for a Greystones dog.
Given that this particular breed is quite particular about their diet. And their parks. And theirrestrooms.
And to mark their arrival into Greystones, Paul and the gang at Sweeney’s are giving away free Frozzys to the first 10 customers through their doors on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th.
Which is tomorrow and the next day. Just in case you were reaching for your diary.
And for those who like their lie-ins of a weekend, fear not, my fat, lazy-ass friends – these tubs are just €3 each. Which, reckons a slobbering Max, is “well, well, well, well, well worth it“. At least, that’s what we think he said.
Doors open at Sweeney’s Boat House at 11am, and you can find out more about what’s on offer at Greystones’ most iconic chipper right abouthere.
