Given that bastarding Amazon, pretty much every shop that isn’t relying on coffee or food has a sale on.

Pretty much every single day of the year.

With this in mind, we thought having all the town’s bargains in one bin would make life a whole lot easier for all the tight-fisted Greystonians out there.

Who knows, it may even tempt you away from the Bezosland. And Dundrum.

Naturally, being Greystones, it’s proven pretty darn impossible to get all our shop owners to get their sales acts together, so, we reckon the best thing to do is simply post here the ones we can unearth. Take a walk, and you’ll probably find some more

Given that Christmas just happened, there are sales all over town. Here are some of the most recent Greytones specials…

Given their recent Best Vegan Takeaway national win, Camile Thai will be celebrating on Thursday, January 30th, when all their vegan dishes will be just €5.99 – eat-in or takeaway. Boom!

At Brooke & Shoals, everything and anything is reduced, largely by 20%. With a little bit of charm though, you might get even more of a discount

Across the road, Azur are about to move across the road, to Madison & Co’s old place – so, all their shoes are made for walking out of the shop right now, with reductions all across the boardwalk.

And just up Hillside Road, by pure coincidence, Pretty Woman is relocating too – and there’s 70% off sale items right now. Yowsa!

At Sam McCauley, they’ve got a 3-for-2 on vitamins and minerals, whilst at O’Brien’s, you can get a Gran Reserva for €10 (saving €5.95), and a four-pack of Carlsberg non-alcoholic for €5.

At Greystones Antiques, that Paine lass certainly has her finger on the pursejoin the Guide, Linda, ya feck! – but right now, you can get 20% off many items, with 15% off all gold jewellery and 10% off diamonds. Nice ice, baby.

Over at Green Mango, lots of specials – you can choose from their Healthy Monday special (Soup & Salad just €12.50), their Vegan Tuesday (when there’s 20% off the vegan menu), the Family Meal Deal (order 4 mains and get a free starter & prawn crackers) and their Starter Up special (where you can double-up your starters for just €5). For this last weekend in January, you can also get 15% off.

YUM! And on Sundays, kids eat for free when sitting down with an adult about to devour their favourite Camile meal.

Open Wednesday to Sunday, The Bellevue Restaurant at The Horse & Hound has just introduced a new Early Bird menu from Wednesday to Saturday, 5pm to 9pm, where you can enjoy a fine 2-course meal for just €19.95. More details here.

There’s the early bird specials at both Daata and Buoys Kitchen, whilst Chakra have their pre-theatre menu running throughout the month too. Oh, and down at Apache Pizza, on Wednesdays, order a large €12.99 pizza and get chicken wings for just €2, whilst from noon to 5pm, any medium pizza and can is just €10. For afters, 500ml tubs of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream is only €3.99, for a limited time only.

And you’re down at Enso, pop next door to the bould Des Doyle, Greystones’ finest butcher, where there’s always bargains to be had. Oh, and we would normally round-up the specials at faceless corporate giant Tesco, but, given that they’re still shitting on their long-term employees, feck ’em.

Up at Farrelly’s in Delgany, right now they have… well, we’re not entirely sure. Padraig and Anthony are supposed to email us weekly, but, so far, nada. Still, you can be sure of daily bargains at this award-winning butchers, baby!

Across the road at the Delgany Mini Market, even though it’s January, they’re still rolling out their Christmas specials – including Pringles and Terry’s Chocolate Oranges for €2.50 each, and Cadbury Milk Tray for just €6. Take that, global discount supermarket chains!

Also on the pizza front – and we’re slowly becoming a coffee by day, pizza by night town – Domino’s have a feckin’ gansey load of specials on the go right now. And there’s something there for every kind of pocket, and belly. You can check ’em all out right about here.
