Which is where having a young, bright-eyed foreign visitor staying in your house comes in kinda handy.

Those lovely people at SEK International School are putting the call out to families in Greystones and the surrounding towns who would be interested in hosting one of their jet-setting students – and they’ve got plenty of options…

Here’s de spiel… 

SEK is looking for families to host International students this year.

We’d particularly love to hear from families who would like to host kids 11 years old and upwards from September to December 2026, but right now, it’s all about our Summer Camps.

Running from Sunday June 21st to Saturday July 18th, we allow two students per home, once you have a bedroom for each. The Family Payment for two students is €1,800 for 28 nights (or €450 per student for two weeks).

Options:
Full Month 21st June to 18th July
1st Fortnight: 21st June to 4th July
2nd Fortnight: 5th July to 18th July

For autumn and winter, it’s September to Christmas, but longer may be possible. There’s also hosting needed for boys aged 11 and 12 from September to mid-December, details here.

School starts at 09.30am and ends at 4.30pm. We provide all transport and canteen facilities – although a packed lunch is required for the Saturday excursions.
