Another busy Irish Rail line-up for Bank Holiday weekend works in 2026. On April 4th to 6th, there will be overhead line renewal, retaining wall renewal and platform works from Connolly to Dun Laoghaire, whilst on May 30th and 31st, it’s Connolly to Bray for track renewal and retaining wall works. On September 12th and 13th, it’s Dun Laoghaire to Greystones for overhead line renewal and coastal defence works, and the same again on October 3rd and 4th. On October 24th to 26th, it’s Grand Canal Dock to Bray for bridge renewal, track renewal, retaining wall works and platform works, and on November 28th and 29th, it’s the same stretch of rail, this time for track renewal, points and crossing renewal and level crossing resurfacing.
