Delgany Girls Join 2,000 Guides For Christmas Panto

he squeals of delight were no doubt loud enough to have Robin Williams spinning in his lamp, as the Delgany Girl Guides joined 2,000 of their fellow super troupers at the Aladdin panto today.

With the Delgany Brownies joining the Delgany Guides and Senior Branch, quite a chunk of those squeals and screams at The Gaiety Theatre on South King Street.

Making sure everyone present got their three wishes – most of them sweet-related, we imagine – must have been a challenge when it came to 2,000 mouths agape, so, fair dues to those slightly older Girl Guides behind today’s big day out.

It’s what being a big sister is all about.
