Don O’Donovan of Monkstown Road, Monkstown, Co. Dublin, formerly Cahir, Co. Tipperary and Greystones, Co Wicklow. July 24th 2026 peacefully in the exceptional care of all in St. Vincent’s Private Hospital. Pre-deceased by his sisters Anne and Sheila. Remembered with much love by his wife Lola (née O’Byrne), children David, Deirdre, Niamh, and Alan, sister Eileen, brother Liam,daughter-in-law Dee, son-in-law Shane, beloved grandchildren Cillian, Seán, Barry, Poppy and Edie, sister-in-law Margaret, extended family, and wide circle of friends.
Reposing at his home on Tuesday evening (July 28th) from 7pm until 8.30pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning (July 29th) at 11am in The Church of the Assumption Booterstown Avenue (streaming live here), after which Don will be laid to rest in Redford Cemetery, Blacklion, Greystones.
