For those who grew up around these parts through the ’70s and ’80s, Rachel Kennedy was a little girl who played a big part in making that life fun.
And now, tragically, this fun-loving Delgany native has left us, far too early, and far too young.
Having been based in Berlin in recent years, it was in the German capital that Rachel passed away recently. And this Saturday, March 19th 2016, her friends here can finally say goodbye.
There will be a service for Rachel at Kilquade Church at 10am, followed by the burial in Shankill, and then on to Killiney Castle in Dalkey for the final farewell.
Our thoughts are with Rachel’s sister, Helena, and all the Kennedy family, as well as the many friends Rachel has made along the way…
