He added: “The Government likes to declare that Councils should build more houses. This is fine, but we need the resources to actually do the work. Ireland needs an army of new tradespeople. You can’t expect an invisible person to magically appear. Until we re-double our efforts to get more young people into trades, we are probably going to struggle.
