To all our wonderful customers, it’s with great sadness we have to announce that Three Qs won’t be reopening after lockdown. Like so many businesses, we’ve been hit hard financially since closing in March and due to our size, social distancing will impact our business too heavily to make it

In the case of the three Quinn brothers behind Three Q’s, they’ve come to the conclusion that this small, much-loved Greystones restaurant simply couldn’t.

Even taken into consideration the possibility of the 2m social distancing being reduced to 1m, their 28-people capacity would be halved to 14.
And it’s not like the costs would be halved to compensate, the only saving being a slightly smaller food supply order for the kitchen.
The fact that commercial rent in Greystones is notoriously high meant that, as Paul Quinn says, “the numbers just didn’t add up“. Hence the closure.

a viable business for us any longer. We’ve worked long and hard for nearly 15 years to keep Three Qs going and made it through the big recession, but the closure due to Covid 19 and its long-lasting effects will be too much for us to overcome.
While we are saddened about how it’s come to an end, we are immensely proud to have achieved what we have in those years and to have stayed open for so long against so many odds.
