After their sell-out shows in Wicklow last May and most recently in March, Wicklow Choral Society is set to dazzle audiences once again with their closing performance of the season.

Happening at St Patrick’s Church in Wicklow Town on May 19th, this eagerly anticipated event promises to be a highlight of the county’s cultural calendar.

Led by the talented conductor James Bingham from the Irish National Opera, the choir will be joined by the esteemed Degani Sinfonia Orchestra, under the baton of Alan Smale. Adding to the stellar lineup are renowned professional soloists, soprano Aoife O’Connell, tenor Ross Scanlon and bass John Molloy.

The evening’s centrepiece will be a captivating rendition of Haydn’s masterpiece, The Creation. This monumental work showcases the choir’s prowess and promises a mesmerising journey through rich choral compositions.

The collaboration between Wicklow Choral Society, the guest soloists and the Degani Sinfonia Orchestra ensures a harmonious blend of vocal and instrumental talents, elevating the performance to extraordinary heights.
