here was a point tonight, just after introducing The Shining on the once-magnificent grounds of
The La Touche Hotel where it felt completely normal to be introducing The Shining on the once-magnificent grounds of The La Touche Hotel.
Somehow, we managed to convince not one but two owners of this much-loved but long-derelict Greystones landmark to let us simply put a film on there for Halloween. No one was going to make money here, nor have their name in lights – it was just a wild idea that tickled the right people. In the right places.

We somehow managed to get a hot August night at the end of October.
brigade) spot prizes – in their hands, to Dave and the outdoormovies.ie gang, and to the mighty Beast Food for their yummy pizzas. You can catch the latter in their winter home down at Go Gym over the coming months.
Also, a big, BIG thanks to John McGowan for coming on down and taking pics of all these beautiful, firm-buttocked and blood-splattered people, the Flynn twins for that teaser photoshoot, and to Cathal Gogan for the groovy cover shot.

These are the best events in Greystones, something that will always be remembered. Yet again thank you so much to every single person involved.
