Are WCC Attempting Another Bullshit Move?

The sense of shock and confusion outside 123 Kindlestown Park this evening was palpable.

One of County Wicklow’s most notoriously difficult natives is currently being rehoused by Wickow County Council, and, once again, no one wants this particular cuckoo in their nest.

After Farrenkelly Close had successfully protested against an attempt to move Ireland’s answer to Ma Baker into their estate over the weekend, Kenmare Heights held an emergency meeting last night, as rumours began to fly that they were next.

And tonight, the worry was on the residents of the neighbouring Kindlestown Park. Even if it is all just a rumour.

It’s difficult to describe just how much trouble this woman, and her family, have caused over the last few years. Mainly for legal reasons. Just think Begbie, in a dress.

And it would appear that it’s mainly for legal reasons that Wicklow County Council keep trying to rehouse this woman again and again, and again, and again.

This evening, uncertainty over how to counter their latest attempt. The former resident still has the keys, until Monday, but, would WCC use the element of surprise with a move before then…? Like thieves in the night…

A resident who has broken pretty much every rule in the council’s own tenancy agreements, it’s a mystery why this Pass The Parcel Bomb charade keeps on being played out, causing stress and worry to innocent, law-abiding, fair and decent citizens.

Here’s hoping that a sensible solution to this ridiculous state of affairs can be found sooner rather than later, and people around here can once again sleep soundly in their beds without having to worry about waking up to a nightmare.

Update: According to Wicklow County Council, there are no plans to move anyone into 123 Kindlestown Park right now.
