She took immense pride in her family and all their achievements, no matter how big or small.

Beautiful woman, inside and out…
n November 15th 2021, the mighty Berna McEntaggart sadly passed…
Many will remember the McEntaggart family from their years in Killincarrig, but Kilcoole became Berna’s permanent home.
Without question, the lady will be deeply missed…
Especially by her loving son, Ian…
Mam, what can I say? She was the heart of our family and always will be.

Pat McEntaggart
Mam was born in Duncannon in Wexford. She met Dad when she was 14 in school in Greystones.
Mam and Dad got married not too long after and moved to Killincarraig. Dad then took the family to Canada but it wasn’t too long before the call of the Goosebank took us back home. For those of you who are not from the area, Kilcoole is often referred to as the Goosebank.
Dad passed away at 63. Mam became a pillar of strength to us all and the rock of our family. It was after Dad died that Mam got involved with Meals on Wheels, Pitch and Putt, and singing with the choir in the local parish.

Delgany ICA 2014
As many of you will know, the ICA was also a huge part of Mam’s life. It was through the ICA that she pursued her love of crafts, card making and drama.
Mam had an interest in gardening and her favourite spot for a cappuccino – to be specific, decaf, one shot, no chocolate – was the garden centre at the Arboretum in Kilquade.
