he Delgany Guild Irish Countrywomen’s Association have been forging bonds, making plans and baking delicious scones for far too many years for a gentleman to reveal.

And their great work will continue this year, of course, now that the main committee members have been released from prison.

Taking place on every first Thursday at the Kilian House Family Centre, the ICA gang have a finger in every apple pie, from crafts and jewellery to drama, sports, swimming, talks, demonstrations, day trips, competitions, golf and, most importantly, gossip.

The fun kicks off at 8pm, and the gardaí usually arrive around 10pm. So, have your escape route, and your alibi, at the ready.

On Sunday, December 1st, there will be a great big Christmas Fair in aid of Wicklow Hospice too.

The ICA gang also have drama on Mondays from 2pm to 4pm, crafts on Wednesdays from 2.30pm to 4.30pm and a book club gathering on last Thursdays at 10.45am.
