Elvis Brews Up A Social Media Storm

kay, so, social media storm might be pushing it just a little, but, there’s no doubt that our boy Elvis proved a major hit in Dublin yesterday.

Not since Babe: Pig In The City has so much fuss been made about an innocent paying a visit to the big smoke.

When Billy Linehan spotted The King in town, he was quick to spread the good news, posting online, ‘Just passed by Elvis in Dublin’s Connolly station, large as life and perhaps, like myself, could lose a few pounds‘.

Outrageous. The Artist Formerly Known As Alan Adamson has only just recently told his good buddy, GG, that he’s lost a lot of weight recently, and is, in his own words, “looking really good these days“.

For Alan Buckley, spotting Elvis on the Dart prompted another pic, and the simple line, ‘The King Lives’.

Throw in that infamous cameo in the recent big-screen Irish documentary Under The Clock, and sure, the man’s a wizard, a true star.

With our boy currently sorting out his busking licence, Dublin will soon be enjoying a lot more sightings of Elvis. Whether they like it or not.

Let’s hope The King doesn’t forget us country yokels as his fame spreads out ever further around the world…
