Around here, we’re blessed to be surrounded by so much natural beauty and fascinating history, and quite a few eggheads who know the hows, whens, wheres and whys.
Three such eggheads will be hosting a guided tour of the Glen Of The Downs woods this coming Saturday, September 7th, from 11am to 1pm.
Aileen O’Sullivan, John McLoughlin and Mick Keane are all Coilte experts, past and present, and their wildlife ramble will offer you the opportunity to learn about our local trees, wildflowers and forest creatures. Whilst breathing some of the freshest air around.
And it’s all in aid of The Caroline Foundation.
Tickets are €30 for adults and €10 for children, with only a limited number of places available.
