The Bear SAT9MAY26 Darren McBride
t’s been bringing out the town’s very early birds for years now,
Darkness Into Light being a grand community gesture of solidarity for those who have struggled to face another day.
Meeting up by the South Beach at 4.15am and doing a circle through the town and back along the coast, this annual walk for Pieta House is there to prove that, no matter what you’re going through, you’re not alone.
With Vick’s, Rise At The Cove, Eleven Deli, the sailing club and The Horse & Hound all opening their doors early for a little hot sustenance, everyone was well fed and watered as they waited for the sun to arrive.
And the Darkness Into Light gang had plenty of people to thank for this year’s dawn chorus too…
