smart new initiative is starting up at the Greystones Family Resource Centre down in Charlesland.

Namely, a weekly coffee morning for the town’s older, wiser folk to meet up and share stories and gossip.

And looking after the next generation.

Here’s the blurb…

Are you a local grandparent helping with the childcare needs of your own children?

We would love you to come along to our Greystones Grandparents Group, every Thursday in our Charlesland Centre premises (above vets and medical centre) between 10am and 11am for a cuppa and a friendly chat.

Connecting people in our community is what this is all about, and we hope to see those in the group supporting one another.

Little ones are welcome, or you can come on your own – just note that toys aren’t provided. If you are attending, we would kindly ask for a small donation each week (max €2, if possible).
