Liam told me the last time I was home.
“They charged me 35 Euro for a 3 year driving licence I said to her. Thats a lot of money, I’m 93 years old and intend to see the 3 years out ….I hope that wasn’t a waste of money!”
Proud to have considered Liam one of my best friends this past 30 years, all those visits to Karnak bumping into Ronnie Drew -sadly missed.
A legend indeed, having not seen them in years I met Liam, Declan and Louise, guess where ? ….. in the Burnaby !!! having been neighbours of ours on Killincarrig road for years, it was great to see the three of them.
